[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 17일 포천시청소년교육문화센터와 포천청소년문화의집에서 운영하는 청소년방과후아카데미는 시청 대회의실에서 ‘2021년 포천시 청소년방과후아카데미 수료식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 수료식에서는 청소년방과후아카데미 활동 영상과 수어 공연, 합창 영상 등을 시청했으며, 청소년들이 그 동안 배우고 만든 작품 전시회도 마련했고, 또한 수료증 수여뿐만 아니라 우수 활동 청소년에게 표창 수여를 하는 등 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

수료식에 참여한 청소년은 “코로나19로 야외 활동을 많이 못했지만 청소년방과후아카데미에서 멘토링 학습으로 많은 것을 배울 수 있었다.”라고 소감을 밝혔다.

방과후아카데미 관계자는 “청소년들의 건강한 성장을 위해 지속적으로 다양한 프로그램을 지원하겠다.”라고 전했다.

한편 청소년방과후아카데미는 방과 후 돌봄이 필요한 청소년의 역량을 개발하고 건강한 성장을 지원하는 국가정책지원 사업으로, 포천시청소년교육문화센터와 포천청소년문화의집에서 중학교 1~3학년을 대상으로 5개 반을 운영하고 있으며, 포천시 관내 청소년이면 누구나 신청할 수 있다고 밝혔다.
