[김준호 기자 = 영월군] 영월 김삿갓면 조선민화박물관(관장 오석환)은 오는 10월 1일부터 10월 31일까지 전국민화공모전 수상작 특별전을 개최하며, 수상자 시상식과 함께 개최되는 전시 오픈 식은 10월 1일 오후 3시에 조선민화박물관에서 개최될 예정이다.

이번 전시는 박물관 내 일월곤륜관에서 개최되며 2022 전국민화공전 수상작 특별전으로 영예의 대상이자 문화체육관광부 장관상을 수상한 ▶이선영(서울시) 씨의 ‘불로장생 스토리’ ▶강원 도지사상인 최우수상을 차지한 이정이(전남도 화순군) 씨의‘수렵도(6폭 병풍)’ ▶김진숙(경기도 양평군)의 ‘곽분양행락도(8폭 병풍) 등 수상작 전시회가 개최된다.

또한, ‘2022 전국 초등학생 민화 공모전’에서 대상을 차지한 안소윤(경남 감계초등학교 6학년) 군의 ‘세계 속으로 향하는 민화 전파단’등 70여 점의 초등학생 수상작도 함께 전시돼 관람객들에게 우리 문화유산의 소중함을 일깨워주고 전통의 맥을 잇는 계기를 제공할 계획이다.

오석환 관장은 '전국민화공모전은 국내 최초의 민화전문 공모전으로서 가장 성공한 공모전으로 평가받고 있으며, 민화의 대중화와 세계화에 기여하고 영월과 조선민화박물관을 널리 알리고 있다‘고 밝혔다.
