[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 20일 포천청소년문화의집에서는 관내 초등 4학년~중등 3학년 청소년을 대상으로 청소년역사기행 ‘한탄강에 대해서’ 체험활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

청소년역사기행 체험활동은 국내 유적지 탐방·기행을 통해 청소년들이 올바른 역사인식으로 민족적 자긍심과 애국심을 고양하기 위한 우리역사 바로 알기 프로그램으로, 이날 ‘한탄강에 대해서’ 참가 청소년들은 한탄강지질공원센터에서 유네스코 세계문화 유산으로 지정된 한탄강의 역사를 전문해설가의 도움으로 배우게 되었으며, 지질케이크 만들기 등 흥미롭고 재미있는 체험활동도 함께했다고 전했다.

또한 비둘기낭 폭포, 한탄강 하늘다리 탐방 활동을 통해 미래사회의 주역이 될 관내 청소년들이 지역사회의 올바른 사회구성원으로 성장할 수 있는 계기를 마련했으며, 앞으로도 청소년에게 필요한 청소년역사기행 프로그램을 지속적으로 진행할 예정이라고 했다.

이번 활동에 참가한 청소년은 “관내 한탄강지질공원센터를 탐방하면서 한탄강의 역사를 알게 되었고, 하늘다리와 비둘기낭을 탐방하면서 포천시의 관광명소를 직접 눈으로 보고, 체험해봐서 좋았다.”라고 소감을 전했다.
