[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 13일, 가평군 가평청소년문화의집 ‘꿈나래’ 청소년방과후아카데미가 초등반을 대상으로 텃밭체험 감자 심기 활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 활동은 가평군어린이급식관리지원센터의 지원으로 진행되었고, 참여 학생들과 함께 마장리에 위치한 텃밭에서 감자를 심는 시기와 방법에 대해 교육하고 씨감자를 직접 삽으로 판 구멍에 넣고 흙을 채우는 체험 등이 진행되었다고 했다.

텃밭체험 활동에 함께한 김경식 관장은 “이번 텃밭체험을 통하여 아동‧청소년들이 자연생태계의 소중함을 배우고 몸과 마음이 건강하게 성장할 수 있는 기회가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.  

여성가족부와 가평군이 지원하는 가평군 가평청소년문화의집은 한국스카우트연맹이 위탁운영하고 있으며 청소년운영위원회, 청소년동아리 및 청소년자원봉사 등의 청소년참여활동과 4차 산업혁명 멀티코팅, 청소년전통무예(국궁) 등 다양한 활동 프로그램을 제공하고 있으며, 꿈나래방과후아카데미에서는 초‧중등 청소년 40명을 대상으로 방과 후 학습지원과 복지서비스 및 체험활동 등 종합적인 서비스를 제공하고 있다고 전했다.
