[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 16일 포천라이온스클럽은 포천시청소년교육문화센터 청소년방과후아카데미 참가 청소년 중 코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 청소년에게 장학금을 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

포천시 청소년교육문화센터 청소년방과후아카데미는 청소년들이 가정이나 학교에서 체험하지 못했던 다양한 활동 프로그램을 제공하고 교과학습 및 전반적인 생활 관리를 운영하면서 청소년들의 건강한 성장을 지원하고 있다고 했다.

포천라이온스클럽 한민우 회장은 “포천라이온스클럽은 지역사회를 위해 다양한 봉사활동을 펼치고 있다. 앞으로도 미래 지역인재가 될 포천시 청소년들을 위해 다양한 지원을 할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

포천시 청소년방과후아카데미 관계자는 “방과후 돌봄이 필요한 청소년에게 관심을 가져 주셔서 감사하며, 앞으로도 청소년들의 자라는 모습을 격려하고 지켜봐 주시기를 부탁드린다.”라고 감사를 표했다.
