[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 17일 포천시청소년교육문화센터 청소년방과후아카데미 아름드리는 관내 중학교 청소년을 대상으로 ‘디지털성범죄 예방 교육’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

경기북부청소년성문화센터와 연계하여 실시한 이번 교육은 최근 급증하는 불법촬영물, 성착취물 등으로부터 스스로를 보호하고 비판적으로 해석하고 걸러낼 수 있도록 의식을 배양하고 대처 능력을 키우기 위해 진행됐다고 했다.

이번 교육에 참가한 청소년은 “우리가 너무도 쉽게 디지털성범죄 피해자가 될 수 있다는 걸 알게 되었다.”면서 “내가 몰랐던 성범죄에 대해 알게 되어 유익한 시간이었다”라고 소감을 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “청소년의 성범죄 노출예방과 성보호 및 자아존중감 향상을 위하여 다양한 교육을 실시하는데 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.

중학교 청소년을 대상으로 포천시에서 운영하고 있는 청소년방과후아카데미는 교과활동, 전문체험활동, 특별지원활동, 생활지원으로 구성되어 청소년들이 가정이나 학교에서 체험하지 못했던 다양한 활동 프로그램을 제공하고, 교과학습 및 전반적인 생활 관리를 운영하면서 청소년들의 건강한 성장을 지원하고 있다고 밝혔다.
