[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월6일 포천시에서 운영하는 포천청소년문화의집 청소년방과후아카데미 꿈터는 경기도와 (재)대건청소년회가 주최한 ‘2021년 경기도 청소년방과후아카데미 E-스포츠 대회’에서 3위 수상을 했다고 밝혔다.

경기도 청소년방과후아카데미 청소년 및 지도자를 대상으로 진행한 이번 대회에서는 E-스포츠 카트라이더 러쉬플러스 경기에 18개 팀이 예선을 거쳐 4개 팀이 본선 대회에 출전해 경기를 치렀고, 청소년방과후아카데미 꿈터는 본선 대회 1개 팀이 참가하여 3위를 수상하였으며, 대회가 열린 한국잡월드에서 직업체험도 병행했다고 전했다.

이번 대회에 참가한 한 청소년은 “E-스포츠에 대해서 긍정적으로 생각을 할 수 있는 계기가 되어 유익했고 내년에도 기회가 되면 다시 한번 도전하고 싶다.”라며 “다양한 직업체험을 하게 되어 좋은 추억이 되었다.”라고 소감을 전했다.
