[남상훈 기자 = 홍천군] 오는 24일 홍천군은 홍천읍 농촌중심지활성화사업의 일환으로 지난 1월 조성된 퐁당퐁당문화센터에서 제1회 종강식 발표회 및 전시회를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

홍천읍 신장대리에 위치한 퐁당퐁당문화센터는 현재 사단법인 퐁당퐁당에서 위탁관리하고 있다.

퐁당퐁당문화센터는 홍천읍 중심지의 문화복지 증진을 위해 댄스, 기타, 캘리그라피 등 17개의 문화프로그램이 주민들의 성원에 힘입어 활발히 운영 중이며 동아리 활동 지원을 위한 동아리실 무료대관도 진행하고 있다. 

(사)퐁당퐁당 주최로 진행되는 이번 종강식은 개관 후 문화프로그램 운영의 첫 종강을 앞두고 그간의 성과 발표 및 강사·수강생들의 노고를 격려하고자 마련됐으며 수강생들의 작품 전시와 함께 수강생들로 구성된 12개 팀의 공연이 진행될 예정이다. 

이세진 이사장은 “홍천군과 주민 분들의 협조와 응원에 덕분에 지금처럼 활성화된 퐁당퐁당문화센터가 될 수 있었다”며, “앞으로도 홍천을 대표하는 문화센터가 될 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
