[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 25일 포천시청소년교육문화센터는 관내 초등학교 1~6학년 17명을 대상으로 9월 비대면 직업체험 프로그램 ‘내 손에서 태어난 캐릭터’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

캐릭터디자이너 직업체험프로그램을 통해 청소년들이 관심이 있는 분야로, 다양한 캐릭터를 창작하고 기존의 캐릭터를 다른 느낌으로 꾸몄으며, 또한, 캐릭터를 다양한 각도에서 살펴보고 나만의 생각으로 독창적으로 표현하며 캐릭터디자이너라는 직업에 대해 알아가고 새로운 체험 기회를 제공했다고 했다.

본 활동에 참가한 청소년은 “나만의 캐릭터를 제작해볼 수 있어서 재미있었다. 다른 직업 프로그램에도 참여하고 싶다. 비대면이지만 알찬 시간이었다.”라며 높은 만족도를 나타냈다.

포천시청소년교육문화센터는 앞으로도 청소년들에게 다양한 직업 체험의 기회를 제공하기 위해 비대면과 대면 참여를 병행하여 직업체험 활동과 다양한 문화체험 활동을 진행할 예정이라고 전했다. 

추후 직업 및 다양한 문화체험 프로그램 참가를 희망하는 청소년은 포천시청소년교육문화센터 홈페이지 ‘청소년활동 신청’란에서 원하는 프로그램을 신청하면 된다고 전했다.
