6월 환경의 달을 맞아 운영된 이번 자원봉사활동은 관내 중‧고등학교 청소년과 청소년교육문화센터 자치기구 SAY클럽 단원들이 참여했고, 참여 청소년들은 소흘읍 거리와 하천에 버려진 쓰레기를 정리하며 환경보호의 중요성과 정화활동의 필요성을 인지할 수 있는 시간을 가졌다고 했다.
