[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 11일과 12일 포천시생활개선회는 포천시농업기술센터에서 ‘마음나눔 사랑나눔 김장봉사’를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

경기도 자원봉사센터 지원사업으로 진행된 이번 봉사는 생활개선회원 50여 명이 참여해 김장김치 8kg 150상자를 담가 취약가구 150곳에 전달했다고 했다.

천병순 회장은 “오늘 만들어진 김장김치로 소외된 이웃들이 따뜻한 온정을 느낄 수 있는 겨울이 되었으면 좋겠다.”라고 말했다.

박윤국 포천시장 “다양한 봉사활동을 하고 있는 포천시 생활개선회는 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다.”라며 “지역사회에 훈훈한 정을 나누며 희망의 온도를 높이는 생활개선회 회원분들께 진심으로 감사드린다.”라고 전했다.

한편, 포천시생활개선회는 김장봉사뿐만 아니라 재가노인 반찬봉사, 언택트 봉사활동, 소외계층 급식봉사, 농촌일손돕기 등 지역사회를 위한 봉사에 앞장서고 있다고 밝혔다.
