[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 3일 포천시 소속 공무원 및 포천도시공사 직원 40여 명이 지난 6월 사과농가 일손돕기에 이어 또 한번 농촌일손돕기에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

최근 코로나19로 영농 인력을 구하기 어려워 농가들이 적기 영농에 어려움을 겪고 있는 가운데, 내촌면과 가산면의 포도농가를 방문해 포도 봉지씌우기작업을 도왔다고 했다.

포천시 관계자는 “지속적인 농촌일손돕기를 통해 어려움을 겪고 있는 농가들에 조금이나마 힘이 되길 바란다.”면서 “많은 분들이 동참하여 농촌일손돕기가 활성화 될 수 있도록 힘써주시길 부탁드린다.”라고 말했다. 

한편, 포천시는 작목별, 부서별 지속적인 농촌일손돕기를 추진해 코로나19로 침체된 농촌 분위기에 활력을 불어 넣고 있다고 전했다.
