[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 18일, 횡성군자원봉사센터는 '2월 우리동네봉사왕(횡성읍)'에 개인으로 박선숙 봉사자, 단체로는 대한적십자사 강원도지사 한마음봉사회를 선정하여 횡성군자원봉사센터 사무실에서 시상식을 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

개인으로 선정된 박선숙 봉사자는 '코로나19 예방접종 자원봉사'와 '어르신과 함께 도란도란', '독거노인가구 연탄봉사', '요양시설 이·미용' 및 반찬나눔 등 취약계층 노인을 위한 봉사활동을 지속적으로 이어오고 있다고 전했다.

단체로 선정된 대한적십자사 강원도지사 한마음봉사회는 '어르신과 함께 도란도란', '농촌일손돕기', '저소득층 노후보일러 교체' 등 어려운 계층을 돕는 활동에 적극적으로 참여하고 있다고 했다.

조원문 횡성군자원봉사센터장은 “코로나19가 지속되는 상황에서도 다양한 활동으로 주변 이웃들을 위해 봉사해주시며 자원봉사 활성화에 앞장서 주시는 자원봉사자들에게 고마움”을 전했다.
