[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 28일 농협동두천시지부는 동두천시 자원봉사센터와함께 일손이 부족한 화훼농가를 방문해 농촌일손돕기를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 일손돕기는 농협과 자원봉사센터의 적극적인 참여로 이루어졌으며, 20여명이 농업인과 함께 고사한 화분을 비우는 등 구슬땀을 흘렸다고 전했다.

이철현 지부장은 “코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 화훼농가를 위해 이번 일손돕기가 작은 힘이라도 되었으면 한다. 자원봉사센터와의 지속적인 지원활동으로 일손부족현상이 최소화될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 농협동두천시지부와 자원봉사센터는 2020년 MOU를 체결하고 활발한 농촌봉사활동을 전개하고 있다고 했다.
