[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 10월 20일 한국주택금융공사 서울북부지사는 동두천시 취약계층을 위해 성금 200만원을 전달하였다고 밝혔다.

한국주택금융공사 서울북부지사는 동두천시를 포함한 경기 5개 지차체 '동두천시, 의정부시, 양주시, 포천시, 연천군'과 서울 4개 지차체 '노원구, 도봉구, 성북구, 강북구'를 관할하고 있으며, 주택금융 등의 장기적, 안정적 공급을 촉진하여 국민의 복지증진과 국민경제 발전에 기여하고 있다고 했다. 

최용덕 동두천시장은 “어려운 취약계층이 따듯한 겨울을 날 수 있도록 성금을 기부해주셔서 감사드린다”며 “기부해주신 성금은 도움이 필요한 취약계층에 잘 전달하겠다”고 전했다.

이날 한국주택금융공사 서울북부지사에서 전달한 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 취약계층에게 전달될 예정이라고 했다.
