의정부시는 주민편익 시설이 포함된 환승주차장 조성과 상·하촌 마을에 대한 주거 환경정비 등을 추진 할 계획으로, 도봉면허시험장 이전이 지역경제활성화는 물론 지역주민 삶의 질 향상에 크게 도움이 되길 기대하고 있다고 전했다.
