(사)국제재난안전진흥원은 민방위·재난교육, 재난심리 상담사 및 재난안전지도사 등 자격증 교육 등을 시행하고 있는 곳으로, 최근에는 각종 재난사고에 효과적으로 대응하기 위해 동두천중앙고등학교, 경기북부 소방재난본부 등과 업무협약을 맺고 있으며, 지난 3일에는 동두천시와도 협약식을 개최했다고 말했다.

(사)국제재난안전진흥원 고영신 대표는 “이번 기부금은 재난에 특히 취약한 저소득층 및 복지사각지대에 놓인 가정에게 전달되었으면 좋겠다”는 뜻을 밝혔다.
