[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2일 오전 희상건설㈜ 이경범 대표는 설악면 행정복지센터를 방문하여 도움이 필요한 어려운 이웃을 위해 써 달라며 이웃돕기 성금 일천만원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이경범 대표는 설악면 엄소리가 고향인 출향인사로 미원초등학교를 졸업하고 설악중학교 1학년을 다니다가 서울로 전학하여 건축분야 관련 대학을 졸업 후 30년 동안 건설업에 몸담고 있으며 희상건설㈜을 건실한 중소건설업체로 성장시켰다. 이경범 대표는 “기업 경영만큼 사회공헌 활동을 중요시 여기고 있으며 몸소 실천하려고 노력하고 있다. 이렇게 기회가 되어 코로나19와 한파로 힘들어하는 고향의 어려운 이웃을 위해 성금을 전할 수 있게 되어 기쁘다.”고 말했다.

이에 이범주 설악면장은 “고향 설악면의 어려운 이웃을 생각하는 이경범 대표의 온정과 애향심에 깊이 감사드리며 기탁해주신 성금은 관내 소외계층을 위해 소중히 쓰겠다.”고 말했다.  

한편, 지난 6월 24일 희상건설㈜ 이경범 대표는 ‘2021 건설의 날 기념식’에서 건설산업진흥을 통하여 국가 산업 발전에 크게 기여한 공로를 인정받아 산업포장 수상했다고 했다.

또한, 금년 창립 18주년을 맞이한 희상건설㈜은 건전한 기업운영을 바탕으로 지속적인 기부와 봉사활동을 통해 사회공헌에도 힘쓰고 있다고 전했다. 

2019년도에는 모교인 미원초등학교 후배들에게 “선배와의 만남” 등 재능기부 봉사활동과 희상건설(주)가 위치한 지역 주변의 어르신 주거 환경 개선사업, 사랑의 연탄 나눔 봉사활동, 기부금 지원 등의 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 매년 펼치고 있다고 했다.

이번에 기탁된 성금은 사회복지공동모금회를 통하여 관내 소외계층을 돕는데 사용될 예정이라고 전했다.
