[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 8일 ㈜설악남한강마트는 설악면행정복지센터를 방문해 300만원 상당의 신동진쌀 1톤(백미 20kg 50포대)을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.
이웃을 생각하는 따뜻한 마음이 민족 대명절 추석을 앞두고 지역사회를 훈훈하게 하고 있다고 전했다.
김형수 대표는 “다가오는 9월 하순 추석을 맞이하여 지역에 어려운 이웃에게 도움을 드리고 싶어 쌀을 나누게 되었다. 이번 나눔을 통해 주민들이 풍성하고 따뜻한 한가위를 보내셨으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.
이에 설악면 행정복지센터 이범주 설악면장은 “장기화된 코로나로 올 추석에도 외롭고 힘들게 지내는 주민이 많은데 덕분에 따스한 정을 나눌 수 있게 되어 설악 남한강마트 대표님께 감사드린다.”고 말했다.
설악남한강마트는 설악행정복지센터와 인접한 설악면 신천리에 위치하여 2017년 개업한 이래로 설악면민들과 외지인들까지 두루 애용하는 마트로 성업 중이라고 했다.
이번 설악남한강마트에서 기탁한 50포대의 쌀은 추석을 맞이하여 설악면 관내 거주하는 어려운 이웃에게 전달될 예정이라고 밝혔다.
