[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 21일 농업법인 ㈜에코가평은 이웃돕기 성금 일백만원을 설악면행정복지센터를 방문하여 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 기탁된 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회에 지정 기탁되어 관내취약계층을 위해 사용될 예정이고, ㈜에코가평은 2009년 설립되어 된장 등의 장류 개발에 힘쓰고 있으며, 회사 설립 초부터 준비한 조경사업이 십여년이 지난 현재 결실을 맺기 시작하여 앞으로 더 큰 발전이 기대되고 있다고 했다.

㈜에코가평 한정인 관계자는 “올 한해는 회사 사정이 좋지 않은 한해였으나 할 수 있는 한도 내에서만큼은 최대한 나눔을 실천하고 연말을 마무리하고 싶었다. 나눌 수 있음에 감사하고 기쁘다.”며 기탁 소감을 전했다.

이범주 설악면장은 “어려운 시기임에도 불구하고 주변의 힘든 이웃들에게 관심을 갖고 나눔을 실천해 주신 데 대해 깊은 감사를 드리며, 기탁해 주신 성금은 도움의 손길이 필요한 곳에 소중하게 사용하겠다.”고 전했다.

㈜홍선종합건설 대표이기도 한 김경현 대표는 가평군 설악면이 고향이며 지역사회 기반으로 기업 활동을 펼쳐나가고 있고, 앞서 지난 2월에도 설날을 맞아 이웃돕기성금 100만원을 설악면에 기탁한 바 있다고 했다.
