[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월부터, 고성군노인복지관은 고성군 거주 만60세 이상 남성 어르신 12명 대상으로 한 남성 요리교실 ‘내가 주방장’이 진행될 예정이라고 밝혔다.

모집 기간은 지난 2월 7일부터 오는 2월 25까지 모집 중이며 이 프로그램은 건강한 식생활이 어려운 남성 어르신들이 요리교육을 통해 식생활 자립 및 사회성 향상시키기 위한 교육프로그램이라고 했다.

세부 내용은 오는 3월부터 12월까지 자립생활교육, 건강트래킹, 요리교육, 반찬 나눔, 세대간 소통(아동과 요리활동)등이 진행될 예정으로 남성 어르신들이 일상생활 교육을 통해 자립능력을 향상하고 요리활동을 통해 3세대와 어울리며 어려운 이웃과 함께하는 나눔 활동에 참여함으로써 사회구성원으로서의 역할을 수행하는데 목적을 두고 있다고 전했다.

고성군노인복지관 안승훈 관장은 “2차년도 연속사업으로 참여 노인이 배운 결과를 바탕으로 지역사회에 다시 환원하는 나눔을 실천하는 방향을 두고 남성 노인의 자립과 사회성 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
