[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 16일 동두천시 중앙동행정복지센터는 관내 약국을 대상으로 복지사각지대 발굴을 위한 홍보 활동을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 활동은 건강악화와 질병치료를 위해 약국에 방문하는 주민이 많을 것이라는 점에 착안하여 추진을 결정하였고, 중앙동에 소재한 약국과의 지속 가능한 협력체계를 구축하기 위해 진행되었다고 했다.

중앙동행정복지센터 맞춤형복지팀 직원들은 지난 3월 11일 오후 세계로약국 등에 출장하여 눈에 잘 띄는 장소에 복지사각지대 발굴 포스터 부착과 사회복지 서비스 안내문 및 전화번호스티커 비치와 제보를 요청하였다고 했다.

이춘우 중앙동장은 “찾아가는 홍보를 통해 복지 정보 소외계층, 제도권 밖 틈새계층을 적극적으로 발굴함과 동시에 가구별 복지 욕구와 가정 상황을 반영한 통합 서비스가 제공될 수 있도록 세심히 살피겠다”고 말했다.
