[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군은 관내 저소득가구에 대하여 주거환경 개선사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 

2022년 1차로 추진하는 주거환경개선사업은 관내 저소득 6가구에 싱크대, 도배·장판 교체 등 지역연계모금액 900만 원을 투자하여 오는 4월10일까지 완료할 계획이라고 전했다.

사업을 희망하는 저소득 가구는 읍·면 행정복지센터 맞춤형복지팀을 통해 모집하며, 이후 사업별 모집량에 따라 추가 모집할 예정이라고 했다. 

한편, 지난해 고성군은 42가구에 대한 주거환경개선사업을 추진하여 주택개보수 및 장애인 편의시설 설치를 지원한 바 있으며, '보수가 필요한 도배·장판 교체', '주택 단열을 통한 에너지 효율 개선', '장애인 편의시설 설치', '복지사각지대 및 취약가구, 중위소득 100%이하 가구'에 노후된 주거 환경을 개선하여 주거권 향상시키는데 기여했다고 밝혔다. 

박행봉 주민복지실장은 “주택 유지 보수를 통해 취약계층의 주거안정과어려운 이웃들이 쾌적한 주거환경에서 지낼 수 있도록 저소득층 주거환경개선사업을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
