[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11일, 동두천시 중앙동행정복지센터는 온라인 복지로 사이트를 통해 복지 도움을 요청한 주민과의 복지 상담을 실시하였다고 밝혔다.

이날 갑작스럽게 거주하고 있는 월세 주택에서 3월말까지 퇴거 통보를 받았지만 도움을 받을 수 있는 방법이 없다며 상담을 의뢰한 복지사각지대 주민과 전화 상담을 시도하여 실제 위기상황 발생 여부와 현재의 상황을 세심하게 파악하였고, 비대면 상담 결과 배우자의 일용근로 소득으로 3인 가구가 힘겹게 생활하고 있는 상황에서 퇴거 위기까지 발생함에 따라 정서적 불안감이 급격히 높아져 오는 3월 15일 복지정책과 희망복지팀과 함께 가정에 방문하여 2차 상담을 진행하기로 하였다고 전했다.

이춘우 중앙동장은 “어려움에 놓여 있는 주민이 직접 도움을 요청한 만큼 현재의 위기상황에서 벗어나 안정적으로 생활할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고 통합사례관리 제공도 적극 검토할 계획이다”라고 말했다.
