[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 25일 동두천시 중앙동행정복지센터는 복지사각지대 발굴시스템으로 추출된 복지사각지대 가정 전화 상담 및 조사를 진행하였다고 밝혔다. 

특별히 얼마 전 사회복지 서비스 신청 안내문을 발송하였지만 아무런 응답이 없는 위기의심 대상자들과의 전화 통화를 시도하여 어려움을 살폈고, 연락이 두절된 가정에 오는 11월 5일까지 출장을 추진할 계획이라고 전했다.  

2021년 제5차 발굴관리시스템을 통해 생계, 의료, 주거, 고용 등의 위기 정보가 입수된 가정을 대상으로 실제 어려움 발생 여부를 확인함과 동시에 문제해결에 필요한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 실시하였다고 했다.

이춘우 중앙동장은 “소외계층이 가장 힘들어하는 동절기가 다가옴에 따라 위기상황에 놓여 있을 것으로 예상되는 주민의 생활실태를 면밀히 파악하여 통합사례관리와 민간복지 자원을 적절하게 지원하겠다”고 전했다.
