[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 19일 영중면 지역사회보장협의체는 양문시내에 홍보부스를 운영하며 복지사각지대 발굴과 협의체의 활동을 홍보했다고 밝혔다.

이날 활동에는 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 참여해 홍보물품을 나눠주며 주변의 어려운 이웃을 발견하면 협의체나 면사무소로 연락해 줄 것을 부탁했다고 했다.

이창수 위원장은 “어려운 이웃에게는 따뜻한 관심과 사랑이 희망이 될 수 있다.”라며 “도움이 필요한 이웃을 적극 발굴해 복지사각지대 해소에 힘쓰겠다.”고 전했다.

한편, 영중면 지역사회보장협의체는 올해 상반기 ‘사랑의 집 만들기 사업’으로 사각지대에 놓인 4가구의 지붕 및 화장실 등 집수리를 하는 등 복지 위기가구 발굴 및 해소에 기여하고 있다고 했다.
