[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 춘천시정부는 올해 11개 지역(신북읍, 소양동, 교동, 조운동, 약사명동, 근화동, 후평2동, 효자1동, 효자3동, 강남동, 신사우동)에 방문복지팀을 신설했다고 밝혔다.

또 7개 지역(동면, 동내면, 후평1동, 후평3동, 효자2동, 석사동, 퇴계동)에는 기존 맞춤형복지팀을 방문복지팀으로 명칭을 바꾸고 기능을 확대했다고 했다.

방문복지팀에서는 기존 복지대상자 뿐만 아니라 각종 복지제도의 집중 안내가 필요한 생애전환기, 위기가구, 돌봄 필요 대상자 등을 찾아가 상담을 한다고 전했다. 

또 대상자에게 필요한 복지 욕구를 파악한 후 다양한 공공서비스 지원은 물론 위기가구에 대한 적절한 개입, 건강관련 욕구에 대한 대응성 강화, 각종 자원 발굴 및 연계 등을 통해 예방적 복지를 위해 노력할 예정이라고 했다. 

이번 방문복지팀 신설은 춘천시정부는 역점사업 중 하나인 ‘선한 이웃 마을돌봄 프로젝트’의 일환으로 추진했다고 전했다.

춘천형 ‘찾아가는 보건복지서비스’ 사업인 ‘선한 이웃 마을돌봄 프로젝트’는 기존 방문복지 서비스에 건강관리 서비스를 추가하여 보건복지서비스를 통합적으로 제공하는 사업이라고 했다. 

시정부는 읍면동 중심의 보건복지 기능을 확대하기 위해 본 사업을 20년부터 단계적으로 확대해 운영해 나가고 있으며, 올해 말까지 읍면동 보건복지인력 93명(복지 68, 간호 25명)을 확충할 예정이라고 했다. 

 최명식 복지국장은 “주민들이 직접 복지서비스를 신청하는 수동적인 복지전달체계에서 벗어나 어려움에 처한 이웃들을 직접 발굴하고 지원하기 위해 노력하는 적극적인 복지전달체계를 구축하고, 촘촘한 복지안전망을 확대 구축하겠다”고 말했다.
