이날 상반기에 실시한 홍보활동과 마찬가지로 '가평읍 찾아가는 희망복지상담소'라는 이름으로 운영한 홍보 캠페인은 지역사회보장협의체 위원, 가평읍사무소 맞춤형복지팀장 등 10명이 참여해 복지사각지대 대상자를 발굴하기 위한 안내문과 홍보물품을 배부했으며, 후원에 참여를 원하는 주민에게는 CMS 안내서와 신청서를 교부했다고 전했다. 

이에 많은 주민들이 복지사각지대에 놓은 소외계층에 관심을 갖고, 사랑을 전하는 사업취지에 공감하며 후원신청서를 작성했다고 말했다.

가평읍 지역사회보장협의체 장동선 협의체 공동위원장은 “추운날씨에도 불구하고 홍보 행사에 참여해준 협의체 위원들에게 감사인사를 전하며 이러한 거리 홍보활동을 계기로 가평읍 지역사회보장협의체와 맞춤형복지팀이 협력하여 복지사각지대에 놓인 이웃을 발굴하는데 좋은 성과를 이루길 바란다”고 전했다.
