[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 18일부터 19일까지 2일간 정선군 지역사회보장협의체에서는 정선농협 한우타운 회의실에서 읍·면협의체 위원 및 담당 공무원 등이 참석한 가운데 지역사회보장협의체 위원 역량 강화 교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 세경대학교 장은석 교수를 강사로 초빙해 지역사회보장협의체의 기능과 역할에 대한 이해를 비롯해 읍·면협의체 위원의 구제적인 역할 및 사례, 협의체 활성화를 위한 구체적인 실천 방안 모색 등에 대한 강의가 진행되었다고 했다.

협의체는 코로나19 등으로 인해 그 동안 교육 진행에 어려움이 있었으나 위드 코로나로 전환됨에 따라 코로나19 방역수칙을 준수한 가운데 교육을 진행하게 되었고, 또한 타지역 지역사회보장협의체 우수사례에 대해 공유하고 읍·면협의체간 소통은 물론 민․관 협력을 통하여 보건, 복지, 고용, 주거, 교육 등 지역주민들에게 통합적 복지서비스 제공을 위한 방안에 대하여 논의하는 시간이 마련되었다고 전했다.

정선군 지역사회보장협의체의 역할은 민관기관과 공공기관이 사회복지사업에 관한 중요사항과 지역사회복지계획을 심의하는 역할을 담당하는 기관으로 대표협의체, 실무협의체, 실무분과로 구성되어 있다고 했다.

실무분과는 8개 분과로 구성되어 있으며, 분과위원의 역할은 공공부문 위원과 민간부문 위원들이 서로 협력하여 지역사회 복지 인적안전망을 활용하여 고독사·학대·자살 등의 위험이 예상되는 위기가구를 적극 발굴하고 연계하여 지역주민이 필요로 하는 복지서비스를 제공하며, 개인의 욕구에 맞게 다양한 복지서비스를 제공하는 역할을 수행하고 있다고 했다.
