[남상훈 기자 = 포천시] 포천시는 건축행정부분에서 우수한 시책추진 등의 실적을 바탕으로 경기도 31개 시·군 대상으로 실시한 ‘2022년 경기도 건축행정 건실화 평가’에서 최우수기관으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

경기도 건축행정 건실화 평가는 건축행정 발전을 위해 건축법에 따라 도의 중점시책 이행 여부, 시·군 자체계획, 건축행정처리 절차 및 실태, 안전관리, 안전점검 등 38개 항목을 평가한다.

포천시는 정부합동평가 3개 항목과 특별부분 평가 항목인 도 중점시책 추진 6개 항목, 시군 자체 추진실적 3개 항목 등 총 12개 항목에서 만점을 받았다. 특히 지역기업 경영 효율성 제고를 위한 가설건축물 축조 신고 대상 확대 제도 개선, 시민불편 소통마당 건축민원 상담실 운영, 건축물 화재안전성능 보강사업 등 우수한 시책추진으로 높게 평가받았다.

아울러 인구 50만 미만의 지방자치단체로 분류되어 의무 설치가 아님에도 지역건축안전센터를 선제적으로 설치해 안전관리 수준을 높였다. 

백영현 포천시장은 “포천시의 건축행정 역량을 대외적으로 인정받은 만큼 앞으로도 시민을 위해 더 듣고, 더 뛰며, 더 공감하는 자세로 시민이 만족하는 건축행정 서비스 제공을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
