‘노동권익 서포터즈’는 경기도가 2020년도부터 추진해온 사업으로 편의점 아르바이트 등 소규모 사업장의 단시간·취약 노동자 노동인권 향상을 위해 노동법 준수 현장 계도, 홍보 활동 등을 전개할 인력을 임명해 운영하는 제도다.

올해는 용인, 고양, 부천, 안산, 평택, 시흥, 파주, 하남, 이천, 여주 10개 시를 대상으로 사업을 진행하며, 시마다 4~7명을 채용해 4월부터 11월까지 총 50명의 서포터즈가 활동을 펼칠 계획이다.

서포터즈는 5인 미만 영세사업장을 찾아 근로계약서 작성, 최저임금·주휴수당 지급, 임금 명세서 교부, 부당행위 금지 등 노동관계법 준수상태에 대한 실태 조사와 함께 단시간 노동자 노동권 향상을 위한 현장 계도·홍보 활동을 한다.
