[김현우 기자 = 포천] 포천시는 지난 16일 경기도 주관 ‘2022~2023년 겨울철 도로 제설평가’에서 우수기관(2위)으로 선정됐다.

제설평가는 도내 31개 시·군을 대상으로 겨울철 도로제설에 대한 사전대비, 제설대응, 사후관리 등 3개 분야 17개 항목을 평가한다.

우수기관 선정은 포천시가 도로제설 업무에 대해 꾸준한 고찰과 문제점 발굴 및 해결을 위해 노력한 결과로 풀이된다. 

경기도는 도로 제설업무에 대한 지속적인 관심도 제고와 시·군 노고 치하를 위해 지방자치단체 지원금 배정과 유공자에 대한 표창을 계획하고 있다.

김원현 도로과장은 “이번 제설평가에서 우리시가 우수기관으로 선정된 것은 시민의 적극적인 참여와 관심이 있었기 때문에 가능했다. 이번 지원금은 시민이 직접 수혜 볼 수 있도록 제설물품 구입 등 업무 추진에 활용할 것”이라고 말했다.
