[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 경기도는 14일 오후 경기도청 대강당 및 1층 로비에서 시·군 치매·노인 관계기관, 스마트기기 개발업체 등을 위한 소통의 장인 ‘스마트 헬스케어 치매 산업 체험 한마당’를 개최한다고 12일 밝혔다. 

행사는 인지기능 개선을 위한 훈련 프로그램을 담은 ‘스마트 테이블’, 정서 인지 건강을 도와주는 인공지능 돌봄 로봇 등 지능형 건강 관리(스마트 헬스케어) 기기를 체험할 수 있는 스마트 치매 산업 체험존과  스마트 치매 산업 동향에 대한 강연과 ㈜네오펙트 등 8개 업체에서 지능형 건강 관리(스마트 헬스케어) 활용사례를 발표하는 정보존으로 나위어 진행 될 예정이다. 

이정화 경기도 건강증진과장은 “노령인구 증가로 치매 추정인구가 증가해 치매 환자 관리비용도 지속적으로 늘어나는 추세라 치매 위험 요인을 감소하고 치매 발병을 지연시키는 전략이 필요한 시점”이라며 “인공지능, 사물인터넷 등을 이용한 지능형 건강 관리(스마트 헬스케어) 산업의 변화를 체감하고 관련 기관 간 정보를 공유하는 좋은 기회가 되길 바란다”라고 말했다. 

한편, 경기도 노인인구는 2023년 2천93만 명으로 인구 대비 15.2%이며, 65세 이상 추정 치매 환자는 21만 명으로 이는 전국의 약 21.4%에 해당한다.
