[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 경기도가 오는 10일부터 산업 재해 예방과 안전 문화 확산을 위한 2023년 경기도 노동안전지킴이 합동점검을 개시한다고 밝혔다.

첫 시작으로 고양시 일산동구 보건소 신축 현장을 방문하며, 경기도는 31개 시·군과 협력해 노동안전지킴이 104명을 도 전역에 배치하고 산업 재해에 특히 취약한 중소규모 건설 현장 등에 ‘찾아가는 현장점검’과 지도·개선을 실시하고 있다.  

이번 합동점검에서는 도, 시․군과 사업 수행기관이 함께 노동안전지킴이의 하루를 따라가 보면서, 도내 소규모 사업장 안전보건 관리 실태를 점검하고 개선․계도 활동이 어떻게 이뤄지는지 직접 체험해보는 시간을 가진다. 

또한, 기관별 사업의 효율적인 관리와 유기적인 협력체계 구축을 위한 의견도 나눌 예정이며, 연말까지 매달 순차적으로 시군별 합동점검을 실시할 계획이다. 

박성식 도 노동안전과장은 “노동안전지킴이는 도 산업 재해 예방 안전망의 든든한 기둥”이라며 “이번 합동점검을 계기로 모든 노동자에게 안전하고 건강한 일터가 보장될 수 있도록 총력을 기울여주기를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
