[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 여성가족부 주최 ‘2021년 전국 청소년수련시설 종합평가’에서 청소년교육문화센터와 청소년문화의집 등 2개 기관 모두 최우수등급을 받았으며, 이로써 청소년교육센터는 3회 연속, 청소년문화의집은 개관 이후 2회 연속 최우수등급을 받아 청소년수련시설 운영 및 관리로 포천시의 위상을 높이는 계기가 됐다고 밝혔다.

청소년수련시설 종합평가는 청소년활동진흥법을 근거해 2년마다 여성가족부가 주최하고 한국청소년정책연구원이 주관하는 평가로 전국 488개의 청소년수련관, 청소년문화의집, 청소년특화시설을 대상으로 실시되고, 수련시설 운영 및 관리체계, 청소년 이용 및 참여율, 프로그램의 우수성 등 전반 사항을 평가한다고 했다.

청소년교육문화센터와 청소년문화의집은 정규‧창의교육프로그램, 청소년예술제, 청소년어울림마당행사, 국제청소년문화체험행사, 방학캠프, 역사기행프로그램, 국가인증프로그램, 방과후아카데미 등 다양한 수련활동, 문화활동, 교류활동 등을 제공하여 청소년활동의 중추역할을 수행하고 있고, 또한 포천시를 대표하는 차세대위원회, 청소년운영위원회, 청소년미디어기자단, 청소년문화예술기획단, 청소년봉사단 등 8개의 청소년자치기구와 동아리연합회 등 200여 명의 청소년들이 지역사회 내 행사‧봉사활동 등에 활발히 참여하여 청소년 역량함양과 성과를 만들어 가고 있다고 전했다.
