한국관광공사가  산·학·연·관 주체 간 협력을 통해 지역 관광 활성화의 당면 과제를 혁신할 수 있는 새로운 프로젝트를 발굴·육성함으로써 지역관광의 혁신 생태계 구축 및 산·학·연·관의 긴밀한 협력 하에 지역관광 비즈니스 모델 구축 및 지속가능한 사업 추진체계 구축을 위해 초기 사업화 지원을 통해 양질의 지역관광 일자리 창출 도모 하기위해서 이다.

한국관광공사가 주최한 이번사업은 ◦ 관광자원 혁신형 사업 ◦ 관광상품 혁신형 사업 ◦ 관광서비스 혁신형 사업 ◦ 제도 혁신형 사업 ◦ 이외 지역관광 활성화를 위한 혁신적 요소를 포함한 기타 사업 등 5개 과제로 이루어진 사업으로 포천시는 관광상품 혁신형 사업에 최종 선정된것이다.

포천시는 농촌 관광상품의 다변화 및 지역경제 활성화를 목표로  사업을 이끌어갈 계획이며, 교동장독대마을 주관으로 참가자 관리 등 현장을 운영하고, 대진대학교에서는 브랜드 디자인 개발 및 제로웨이스트 굿즈를 제작한다. 또한 포천시는 참가자 만족도 조사, PPL 등 매체를 활용하여 홍보할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
