[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 17일부터 20일까지 동두천시는 농업기술정보센터에서 농업인 160여명을 대상으로 친환경 벼농사, 토양관리, 치유농업, 농업드론 교육 과정을 구성, 전문강사를 초빙해 새해농업인 실용교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 교육생을 대상으로 비접촉식 체온 측정, 백신접종 완료 QR코드 인증, 마스크 착용, 교육장 소독을 실시했으며, 개강식 전 새해 영농설계 수립에 도움이 될 수 있도록 2022년 농업인 지원사업, 농정시책 및 과수화상병 예방법을 홍보했다고 전했다.

이번 교육은 농업과 환경을 조화시켜 토양오염을 줄이는 친환경 벼농사 및 토양관리 교육을 진행했으며, 코로나19로 지친 심신 안정을 위한 치유농업 교육과 농작물 병해충 방제 시 노동력 감소 효과가 있는 농업드론 실습을 실시하여 교육생들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다고 했다.

동두천시 관계자는 “단계적 일상회복에 맞춰 점진적으로 교육생들이 원하는 다양한 교육 프로그램을 개발하여 활성화시키겠다”고 밝혔다.
