[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군농업기술센터는 농업인들이 영농기에 농업기계를 불편 없이 사용할 수 있도록 찾아가는 교육 서비스인 ‘2022년 농업기계 현장 순회 기술 및 안전교육’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

3월 2일, 현내면 죽정2, 죽정1리를 시작으로 올해 10월까지 188회에 걸쳐 농업기계 순회기술 교육을 실시하며, 교육내용은 농업기계의 올바른 사용법과 관리요령, 안전사고 예방교육, 자가정비 기술교육 등이고, 특히 전문경력관의 농업기계 점검과 수리가 함께 이루어져 농업인들의 불편을 해소하고 적기 영농이 가능하도록 지원할 예정이라고 전했다.

지난해 114개리 마을 1,822농가 3,440대의 농기계를 수리해 노령화된 농촌마을에 농업기계 수리불편 해소 및 수리비 절감으로 연간 10억원 이상의 농가 간접소득 기여 효과를 가져 왔다. 올해는 사업비 2억1백4십만원으로 114개리 마을 2천 농가 4천대를 수리 목표로 삼고 있다고 했다.

군 관계자는 “농기계순회수리”는 다수의 농업인에게 혜택과 편의를 제공하는 고성군의 대표적 농정시책사업으로 앞으로도 지속적으로 사업을 확대할 계획이며 “농가에서는 교육 시 코로나19 확산방지를 위해 반드시 마스크를 착용하고 비치된 손소독제 사용과 발열체크에 협조해 달라”고 당부했다.
