[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 홍천군이 2022년 새해 농업인 실용교육을 시작했고, 농업인 1,080명을 대상으로 진행되는 교육은 지난 1월 10일 수도작 과정을 시작으로 오는 28일까지 25회에 걸쳐 진행된다고 밝혔다.

교육은 코로나19에 따른 사회적 거리두기 실천을 위해 지난해 12월 사전 신청한 농업인에 한해 방역패스 확인 후 방역수칙을 철저히 준수하며 소규모로 진행하고 있다고 했다.

특히 지난해 현장에서 문제가 되었던 부분에 대한 분석과 대응관리기술 교육을 중점적으로 다루게 되며, 교육은 복숭아, 사과, 산채 등 홍천군 전략작목을 중심으로 영농기술 18개 과정, 농촌자원 2개 과정, 농업경영 2개 과정 등 3개 분야 총 22개 과정으로 진행된다고 했다.  

박승영 소장은 “농업인들의 새해 농업인 실용교육을 통해 농업환경, 농촌변화, 융복합기술 접목 등 다양한 정보를 공유하고 나아가 영농에 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 운영에 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 군은 새롭게 달라지는 군정 및 농정시책의 신속 확산과 작목별 새로운 농업기술 및 유통정보 제공으로 농업인들이 새해 영농계획을 설계하는데 도움을 주고자 교육을 시행하고 있다고 했다.
