[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 20일 동두천시 불현동 행정복지센터는 동두천시정신건강복지센터 부설 자살예방센터와 생명존중 문화조성 및 사회적 안전망 구축을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

업무협약 내용은 자살예방을 위한 안전시스템 구축, 자살고위험군 사례 발굴 및 연계와 상담, 정신건강 증진을 위한 사업과 서비스 지원 등이며, 이번 업무협약을 통해 양 기관은 지역사회 내 정신건강 위기 사례 발생 시 신속하게 대응할 수 있는 업무체계를 구축하는데 적극 협력한다고 했다.

김지일 불현동장은 “자살예방센터와의 업무협약을 기반으로 관내 생명존중 문화 조성 및 자살예방 지원체계를 마련하여 지역복지 향상을 위한 지속적인 노력을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
