[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 26일 동두천시 불현동 지역사회보장협의체에서 설 명절을 맞아 불현동 복지사각지대 소외계층을 위해 ‘따뜻한 정드림’ 선물세트를 15가구에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

협의체는 식료품과 생필품으로 구성된 정드림 박스를 대상가구에 방문하여 전달하고, 안부를 확인하는 등 복지사각지대 소외계층을 면밀히 살피며 지속적인 나눔 실천을 약속했다고 했다.

불현동 지역사회보장협의체 전동근 위원장은 “유독 명절때 더 외로움이 클 소외계층에게 조금이라도 위로가 되기를 바라는 마음으로 더욱 정성을 담았다”고 밝혔다.

김지일 불현동장은 “어려운 시기에도 앞장서 나눔을 실천해주시는 협의체 위원님들께 감사드리며 소외되는 이웃이 없도록 민관이 협동하여 지속적인 노력을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
