[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 18일 양주시 양주2동 행정복지센터는 사회적 기업 ㈜라온아띠와 취약계층 복지 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식은 상호협력을 통한 지역복지 발전에 기여하고자 마련됐으며, 안순덕 시의원과 이두영 양주2동장을 비롯해 양주2동 새마을부녀회 회장, 총무, ㈜라온아띠 관계자 등이 참석했고, 주요 협약내용은 관내 취약계층의 건강과 안위를 위한 재가노인 반찬배달, 후원물품 배달 봉사 등으로, 양주2동 행정복지센터에서 실시하는 자원봉사 활동에 ㈜라온아띠 직원들이 적극 동참한다고 했다.

강세구 대표는 “거동이 불편하고 경제적으로 어려운 이웃들에게 저희의 도움의 손길이 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

이두영 양주2동장은“지역사회 어려운 이웃을 위해 애써주시는 라온아띠에 진심으로 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 복지 사각지대에 놓인 소외이웃을 발굴해 지속적으로 지원하고자 하니 적극 동참해 주시길 바란다”고 말했다.
