이날 위촉식은 위촉장 수여식과 위원장 선출 순으로 진행됐고, 양주2동 지역사회보장협의체에 위촉된 위원들은 사회복지기관 종사자, 사업가, 통장, 교수 등 지역의 사회복지증진에 열의가 있는 총 18명으로 위촉장을 수여받았으며, 만장일치로 박금순 위원장이 선출됐고, 부위원장은 우종진 위원, 총무에 유영미 위원이 선정돼 지역사회복지 발전을 위한 구심점의 역할을 수행하게 됐다다고 했다.

위촉된 위원은 임기 2년 동안 복지사각지대 발굴과 자원연계, 지역사회복지 문제해결을 위한 논의, 지역사회 특화사업 추진 등 다양한 역할을 할 예정이고, 이어 협의체는 ‘2022년 설맞이 떡국 떡 나눔’ 수립을 위해 2022년 1월 월례회의를 개최해 마을 복지를 위해 곧바로 앞장섰다고 전했다.

박금순 위원장은 “양주2동 지역사회보장협의체가 사각지대에 있는 위기가정을 발굴하는데 큰 역할을 할 수 있도록 발로 뛰겠다”고 전했다.
