[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 17일 양주시 양주2동은 새꿈쟁이어린이집이 행정복지센터를 방문해 관내 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 성금 15만원을 기부했다고 밝혔다.

이날 기부된 성금은 원아들이 매일 돼지저금통에 차곡차곡 저금해 몇 년간 모은 용돈으로 마련한 것으로 경기사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 저소득층에게 전달될 예정이라고 했다.

김인섭 원장은 “원아와 학부모, 교사들의 따뜻한 마음이 어려운 이웃들에게 잘 전달될 수 있기를 바란다”고 전했다.

이두영 양주2동장은 “바쁜 와중에도 어려운 이웃을 위한 나눔 실천에 동참해 주신 어린이집에 진심으로 감사하다”며 “관내 어려운 이웃에게 따뜻한 마음을 잘 전달하겠다”고 말했다.
