[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 31일 양주시 양주2동은 청소년의 달을 맞아 청소년지도위원과 함께 관내 유흥업소와 음식점 편의점 등을 중심으로 청소년 유해환경 개선활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 활동은 5월 청소년의 달을 맞아 유해환경으로부터 청소년을 보호하고 건전한 환경을 조성하기 위해 추진했다고 전했다.

주요 점검 내용은 청소년 대상 유해약물(주류·담배 등) 판매행위 점검, 청소년 출입시간 위반 및 고용금지 준수 여부, 청소년 출입·고용금지 및 주류·담배판매 금지 표시 이행여부 확인 등이라고 했다.

이해상 위원장은 “청소년유해환경 개선활동으로 청소년들이 자라기에 안전하고 건전한 환경이 조성되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회 청소년들을 위해 적극적으로 개선 활동을 펼쳐갈 계획이다”고 밝혔다.

최계정 동장은 “청소년들의 일탈방지를 위해 애써주신 청소년지도위원들에게 감사하다”며 “앞으로도 청소년들이 안전하게 성장할 수 있는 지역사회를 만들기 위해 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
