[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 24일, 경기주택도시공사는 최근 경북·강원 지역에서 발생한 대형 산불 피해 지원을 위해 성금 5천만원을 사회복지공동모금회에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 전달된 성금은 특별재난지역으로 선포된 경북 울진과 강원 강릉, 삼척 등 산불피해 지역을 복구하고 이재민의 생활 안정을 위한 생계지원에 쓰일 예정이라고 전했다.

전형수 부사장(사장 직무대행)은 "갑작스러운 산불 피해로 어려움을 겪고 있을 이재민에게 조금이나마 도움이 되어, 빠른 시일 내 해당 지역 주민들이 따뜻한 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있길 바란다"고 말했다.

앞서 GH는 지난 2019년에도 강원도 고성·강릉 산불피해 복구 지원을 위해 성금을 기탁하는 등 지역을 넘어 상생 활동을 실천해오고 있다고 밝혔다.
