[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평군은 2022년 자동차세를 미리 납부하면 연간 납부세액의 10%를 공제해주는 연납제도를 시행한다고 밝혔다.

지방세법 제128조 제3항 및 제4항에 따라 2021년부터 자동차세 연납 공제 방법이 달라져 실질적으로 연간세액의 9.15%를 세액공제 받을 수 있고, 기존에 연납 신청한 차량은 군에서 1월 중순경 고지서가 일괄 발송되며, 새로 취득한 차량은 연납신청을 해야 한다고 했다. 

신규로 신청하는 납세자는 가평군청 세정과에 전화 또는 방문 신청하거나 위택스에서 직접 신고 납부할 수 있으며, 연납 신청 후 미납시 불이익은 없고, 6월과 12월에 정기분으로 부과된다고 전했다. 

자동차세 연납 납부는 고지서 없이도 금융기관에 설치된 CD/ATM기에서 조회하여 납부할 수 있으며, 위텍스와 농협 가상계좌이체 납부, 이체 수수료가 없는 지방세입계좌 납부, 인터넷지로, ARS를 통해서도 납부가 가능하다고 했다.

군 관계자는 “자동차세 연납은 납세자에게는 세액절감의 혜택이, 가평군에는 지방세수의 안정적 조기확보 효과가 있다.”며 기한 내 신고·납부해 줄 것을 당부했다.
