법인전용 무인민원발급기는 일반 무인민원발급기와 운영체계가 달라 수수료를 현금으로만 납부해야 하는 번거로움이 있었기 때문에 양주시는 현금보다 카드 사용이 일반화되고 있는 추세에 발맞춰 민원인의 불편함을 해소하고자 신용카드 결제방식을 도입, 이용자의 수수료 납부 편의를 제공하고 있다고 했다.

특히 법인전용 무인민원발급기로 부동산등기부등본, 법인등기부등본, 법인인감증명서 총 3종의 민원서류를 발급 받을 수 있고, 발급수수료는 1통당 1,000원이며 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 운영한다고 전했다. 

작년 4월부터 운영 중인 시청 내 법인전용 무인민원발급기는 관내 등기소 부재로 법인 민원서류 발급 시 인근 시·군 등기소를 방문해야 하는 민원인의 시간적·경제적 비용을 절감하는데 일조하고 있으며, 이에 따라 발급기 이용량도 지속 증가하고 있다고 했다.

양주시 관계자는 “앞으로도 지속적인 민원수요 분석을 통해 무인민원발급기를 이용하는 민원인의 편의를 향상시키고 시민이 만족할 수 있는 민원 서비스를 제공하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
