[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 이월체납액 최소화를 위하여 오는 12월말까지 ‘2022년 하반기 지방세 및 세외수입 체납액 특별정리기간’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.   

시에 따르면 체납액 특별정리기간 동안 상습·고질 체납자에 대해서는 압류재산 공매, 번호판 영치, 관허사업제한, 명단공개, 공공기록정보 등록 등 강력한 행정처분을 단행하며, 

 경제적 어려움에 놓여있는 자영업자와 소상공인 체납자에 대해서는 체납자 맞춤형 체납징수 활동을 추진할 계획이다.

특히, 자동차 관련 체납액 징수를 위해 번호판 영치 기동팀을 상시 운영하며, 영치예고 문자 발송과 실시간 차량 영치시스템, 스마트폰을 활용하여 차량 밀집지역 집중단속 등을 실시한다.

납부 안내문, 체납 안내 문자를 발송하여 납부를 독려하고 자진 납부할 수 있도록 안내할 예정이다.

또, 고액·상습 체납자에 대해서는 제2금융권 금융자산 압류, 명단공개, 출국금지 등 행정제재와 압류, 공매, 체납 차량 번호판 영치 등 체납처분을 더욱 강화한다. 

김형기 세무과장은 “시민들께서는 경제적으로 어려운 시기이지만 납부한 지방세 및 세외수입금은 시의 소중한 재원이 되므로, 성숙한 시민의식으로 체납액을 납부하여 줄 것”을 당부했다.
