[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 13일 태백시는 시청 소회의실에서 세외수입 실무를 담당하고 있는 공무원 20명을 대상으로 세외수입 실무담당자 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 실무자들의 전문성 제고를 위한 직무역량 강화 교육을 위해 실시됐으며 애로사항 및 건의사항 청취, 납부자 불편 사항 해결방안도 함께 논의했다고 했다.

교육은 세외수입 기초부터 부과 및 징수결의, 감액, 과오납, 보조금 반납 등 실제 업무에서 당면하게 되는 문제점과 유의해야 할 사항, 독촉장 발부와 고지서 송달 절차 이행을 중점으로 진행됐다고 전했다.

시는 현년도 체납의 효율적 관리를 위해 납부 자료를 철저히 확인해 정확하고 공평한 세외수입 부과, 체납 관리될 수 있도록 할 예정이며, 코로나19로 경제적 활동 위축 등 어려움을 겪고 있는 납부자들에게 부담을 덜어주기 위해 적극적으로 세정을 지원할 계획이라고 했다.

시 관계자는 “세외수입은 지방세와 더불어 지방재정을 책임지는 중요한 수입원이다.”며 “이번 교육을 통해 세외수입 담당자들의 업무역량을 강화하고 세수 확대를 위해 최선을 다해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
